Tyrone Davis (born June 30, 1972 in Halifax, Virginia) is a former professional American football tight end in the National Football League. He played eight seasons for the New York Jets (1995–1996) and the Green Bay Packers (1997–2002). In college, he played wide receiver for the University of Virginia and set a school record for touchdown receptions with 28. He broke the record set by Herman Moore, whom Davis replaced as a starting wide receiver in 1991.
